For parents of adolescents as they navigate the teen and preteen years. Empowering parents to refill their cups, navigate challenges, be more present, role model emotional regulation, and boost the all-important parent-child relationship.

Becoming more self-aware and emotionally present for your child - how to manage stress and anxiety better

Learning how to respond rather than react - breathing techniques and meditation

Rebuilding yourself as a secure home base - self-compassion tools

Role modeling self-regulation and self-care

session 3 - 4 WEATHERing THE STORM

Understanding context - the teenage brain and parenting in these digitally suffocating times

Friendships - how to support ups and downs, the importance of the parent

Navigating conflict - releasing anger, deep listening, and assertiveness

session 5 - 6 LONG-TERM BONDING

Fostering “unconditional positive regard” (Carl Jung)

Boosting parent and child self-esteem with affirmations and meditations

Collecting your child - opportunities to reconnect

Approaching digital connection mindfully

Timings: 10am - 4pm

Rate: £65 per attendee including a copy of the book, ‘Resilient Teen’.

The course will take place at Kingswood Pavilion.

A hot drink and biscuits will be provided.

Please bring along a packed lunch, a water bottle, and a notepad and pen if you want to take notes.
